Sant’Agata Bolognese, 1 March 2018 – The Lamborghini Huracán Performante, just one year on from its official debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, has taken the production car lap-time records on eight international circuits.
The times were set during press trials carried out by prestigious magazines on their circuits of reference:

03/08/2017 | Balocco (Auto) – 2’28” .07 |
29/08/2017 | Contidrom (Auto Zeitung) – 1’29” .6 |

The new records, which confirm the Performante as one of the fastest production super sports cars in the world, are proof of its exceptional performance features that are also thanks to ALA system (Lamborghini Active Aerodynamics), which last year won the Autocar Innovation Award.
This system, made possible by the use of innovative ultra-lightweight materials such as Forged Composite, provides a variation of the aerodynamic load for greater downforce or lower aerodynamic resistance. Along with aero-vectoring, a dedicated chassis set-up, an all-wheel drive system, and further enhancements to the powertrain, the Performante delivers incredibly high performance and the best results on the track, while at the same time maintaining the most engaging and dynamic road driving.
The Performante is equipped with a 5.2-liter V10 aspirated engine with enhanced torque of 600 Nm at 6,500 rpm and power output of 640 HP at 8,000 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of over 325 km/h.
